Smart Mobility World Congress is the next step in the evolution of exploration into the world of smart mobility. Stemming from the highly successful Railway event; BcnRail, and the need to address the challenge of the mobility of citizens, Smart Mobility World Congress will take place annually and this year will be held simultaneously to Smart City Expo World Congress, from 14-16 November 2017.
This exciting new meeting point for institutions and industry players from around the globe will offer the perfect platform to gain insight into cutting-edge innovations for all types of sustainable urban mobility and intelligent transport systems, including those of the railway industry. It will be the ideal place to network with other key players and forge business relationships.
The three day event boasts a shared exhibition area with Smart City Expo World Congress, the international leading event for cities, which last year attracted 16,668 visitors from over 600 cities. It will feature the Mobility Hub: an interactive arena for passers-by to see and experience pioneering ideas and case studies, as well as startup pitches, workshops and knowledge exchange activities.
There are three fascinating lines of congress for debate, discussion and sharing knowledge: The Mobility Congress area will look at the latest developments in mobility technology, BcnRail Forum will tackle issues related to the railway sector, and the 31st annual congress of Alamys, will bring together key decision makers for metros and subways in Latin America, Spain and Portugal.
Each type of transport must play a role if we want to find answers to the questions that arise from an increasingly populated urban landscape and Smart Mobility World Congress will be a key tool in that effort.
